WHATS THE STORY 😉 (BEHIND FARRELL HURLS)
Way back in 1996, when Dean was a young lad his father Bernard created an emergency hurl for him just before a game, this was the moment when Bernard realized he had a talent (incase you are wondering, yes, they won that game!)
Bernard was then asked to create a similar hurl for Deans teammates, so he purchased some Irish Ash and crafted a couple of Hurls which he sold and then bought more Ash and has repeated the process over the years to become a leading Hurley manufacturer.
Farrell Hurls are 100% Irish owned and every Irish ash hurl is crafted by hand with passion and precision by Bernard and Dean in our workshop in Coolock industrial estate, Dublin

Customer satisfaction and producing the highest quality product is our priority at Farrell hurls
Farrell Hurls is a local family business in the malahide Road Industrial Estate, Dublin 17.
Bernard started the business after he was made redundant due to the downturn in 2008. As a skilled tradesman he turned his experience in stonework to that of wood, and started hand crafting hurls from his shed but as the business grew and demand for his bespoke hurls increase, he moved to the business park, where he was joined by his Son Dean.
Father and son team worked side by side crafting the finest Irish ash into individual hurls tailored to the players style.
Bernard is not only passionate about the quality of the hurls he produces but also meticulous about finding the best fit for the player from all ages.
When customers come to Farrell hurls you will not only find quality hand made hurls but also a service that is second to none, fitting child to hurl. Adjusting as required and even an impromptu hurling lesson,so that we can assess the style of the player and therefore the perfect fit.
